Workshop on Basic Life Support (BLS) & Save Life

The Udupi Branch of ICAI (SIRC), in association with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), organized an insightful and potentially life-saving session titled “Basic Life Support and Save Life” on 28th April 2025. This session was held at ICAI Bhawan, Kunjibettu, and was aimed at empowering Chartered Accountants and students with essential emergency response skills.

The workshop was led by Dr. K. Suresh Shenoy, a highly respected orthopedic surgeon and President of IMA Udupi Karavali. With his vast medical experience, Dr. Shenoy delivered a powerful and practical session on the importance of timely intervention during medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest, choking, and unconsciousness.
