Chairperson Message

Dear Members,

July has always been a month of pride and celebration for our profession, and this year it holds
even greater significance as we are in the Silver Jubilee Year of ICAI Udupi Branch. This
milestone is not just a marker of 25 glorious years, but a testament to the dedication, unity, and
commitment of our members, students, and well-wishers.

We began the month with the spirited celebration of Chartered Accountants’ Day, a reminder of
our rich legacy and the responsibilities that come with it. Our Career Counselling Programs this
month inspired young minds to explore the rewarding path of accountancy, while professional
enrichment continued through a Seminar on Co-operative Audit and an engaging session on
Comprehensive Succession Planning.

On World Youth Skills Day, we reinforced the importance of continuous skill development to stay
future-ready. The month also included our Annual General Meeting, a Study Circle meet, and a
practical session for students on Filing Income Tax Returns.

These initiatives reflect our branch’s dedication to creating value for both members and
students, in keeping with the spirit of our Silver Jubilee year. As we look ahead, let us continue to move together with the same zeal, making this landmark year one to remember in the history of our branch.
