The Udupi Branch of the Southern India Regional Council (SIRC) of ICAI stands as a symbol of growth, integrity, and commitment in the field of Chartered Accountancy. Established officially on 1st May 2001, the branch has evolved into a dynamic hub of professional learning and development for members and students across the region. Inspired by a visit from CA G. Sitaraman, former President of ICAI in 2000, the foundation of the Udupi Branch was laid with visionary leadership and community collaboration. The branch was inaugurated on 15th August 2001 by CA N. D. Gupta, and within a year, it successfully established its own Examination Centre in Udupi, becoming a vital academic resource for the profession.
